Psalm 46

Psalm 46

          1God is our refuge and strength,

a very present help in trouble.
2Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

4There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

8Come, behold the works of the LORD,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
10“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
11The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

The Fathers Prayer (Part 1 )

The Lord's Prayer

When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corner of the streets, so that they may be seen of men.
 Truly I say to you, they have their reward.
 But you when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret: and Your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly.
 But when you pray, use not meaningless repetitions, as the heathens do; for they think that they shall be heard for their  many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.
 Pray then this way.

Our Father who is in Heaven, Hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread.
 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgive our debtors
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
 For Yours is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever.   Amen
Matthew 6:5-13

In this day and hour the Lord is calling us into a closer walk with Him. Spending time alone with the Father in pray, is what helps your relationship grow.

  A deeper understanding of the elements in this pray will open up deeper truths about the Fathers love to you. This pray is a outline, it is not the prayer that we pray over and over again day by day.

This pray begins and ends with praise.
We are to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and come into His courts with praise.
(Ps.100:4)

We honor our Father first by praise, Hallowed be your name the word Hallowed means "to sanctify or set apart; to praise; to adore. It is the expression of an intense desire that God's name be recognized, set apart and adored.

Psalm 8
Yahweh, our sovereign God,
your glory streams from the heavens above, filling the earth with the majesty of your name!
People everywhere see your splendor,
You have built a stronghold by the songs of children.
Strength rises up with the chorus of infants,
This kind of praise has power to shut Satan's mouth.
childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.

 Praise Him because the blood of Jesus not only takes away your sin, it breaks the power of sin in you.
Thank Him that the blood of Christ does not over look sin; it overcomes it.

Look for part 2 of this prayer.

 I had a friend give me a a book by Larry Lea called "Could You Not Tarry One Hour" This is where I got these golden nuggets.

1 Peter 2:6-8
"Behold I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, And he who believes in Him will not be disappointed"
 This precious value, then,is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve,
The Stone which the builders rejected, This became the very corner stone".and
"A stone of stumbling and a Rock of offence".

THE LION AND THE LAMB

 The Lion and the Lamb

The Lion and the Lamb

I am the lamb who laid down my life for the sheep.
 No other Shepard has done this for his sheep.
I was beaten with 40 lashes, and then asked if, I was a King?
I answerd "I AM" and then answered no more.
I've poured out my blood to all who will drink and all who will eat..
I didn't shout in the streets, I came quietly to you.
 I knock at your heart's door. Oh so quietly, to see if you would invite me in..
I never pushed my way in. I was gentle to all, I waited for all.
I whisper to all, I love you, may I come in.
But will you say, YES?
 I came as a lamb gentle and mild.

I am also the Lion of Judea.
Do you hear me roar?
I come to make things right, to finish the fight!
To pull the wolf' off of the sheep, so they can have good sight!
Because I am the lion and the lamb!
In this I delight.
I will have My way.
All my children will be set free, with eyes that see,
 with ears that hear, and a heart that receives and believes.
Come to Me while you still can.
My blood is still offered to thee,.
There is enough for all to receive.
I am the Lion and the Lamb.
 My grace is towards those whom I love.
 I will not put up with sin forever.
It will be stopped. If you insist in this,
 you also will be stopped.
I am coming for a bride who is spotless.
 Be thou clean.
 Come to Me and I will cleanse you and make you My own.

Come while you still can.
The door will soon close, that day only the Father knows..
And in that day, I will have to say to you, go away, for I never knew you.
Come while the door is still open to you.
Knock Knock.
