The Fathers Prayer (Part 1 )

The Lord's Prayer

When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corner of the streets, so that they may be seen of men.
Truly I say to you, they have their reward.
But you when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret: and Your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly.
But when you pray, use not meaningless repetitions, as the heathens do; for they think that they shall be heard for their  many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.
 Pray then this way.

Our Father who is in Heaven, Hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread.
 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgive our debtors
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever.   Amen
Matthew 6:5-13

In this day and hour the Lord is calling us into a closer walk with Him. Spending time alone with the Father in pray, is what helps your relationship grow.

A deeper understanding of the elements in this pray will open up deeper truths about the Fathers love to you. This pray is a outline, it is not the prayer that we pray over and over again day by day.

This pray begins and ends with praise.
We are to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and come into His courts with praise.
(Ps.100:4)

We honor our Father first by praise, Hallowed be your name the word Hallowed means "to sanctify or set apart; to praise; to adore. It is the expression of an intense desire that God's name be recognized, set apart and adored.

Psalm 8
Yahweh, our sovereign God,
your glory streams from the heavens above, filling the earth with the majesty of your name!
People everywhere see your splendor,
You have built a stronghold by the songs of children.
Strength rises up with the chorus of infants,
This kind of praise has power to shut Satan's mouth.
childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.

Praise Him because the blood of Jesus not only takes away your sin, it breaks the power of sin in you.
Thank Him that the blood of Christ does not over look sin; it overcomes it.

Look for part 2 of this prayer.
